When a Ship comes In

24” X 48” Acrylic flip on a wrapped canvas.  

I grew up on the ocean and there was nothing like watching the old ships port.  This one is parked as the arriving crew is scuffed to shore.   My ship came in.  

This was one of the first times I planned to flip this paint,  and laid out the ship in reverse specifically to achieve the effect of the smooth side of the paint flip.  This isn’t done justice by photographs.  It’s way cool up close.
