Body Paint Photography on Linen Giclee print with acrylic, airbrush, and paint flips
The process to make a piece Like this is a very intense and expensive one.
The Body Paint image was captured in a team photo shoot day at Peregrine Studios in Denver. The Model was painted from the waist up and the lighting in the hair is one of the instruction aspects of the video that was created for that (please see my blog for details)
The images came out so great, that I approached Paul and asked if I could creates art pieces with several of my favorites from that shoot.
I had the photographs printed on very high end linen giclee canvas and then embellished with acrylic. This piece won for the people’s choice at the Lakewood Arts Council Dia De Los Muertos exhibit from 2021.
This Original is UV reactive which completely changes the dynamic of the piece with lighting. (Please see video below)
