Headache with Neuropathy (Original Mixed Media on Canvas)
Paint Pour Base | Signature Paint Flips | Cut & Collaged Textures
This piece is a visceral self-portrait from the inside out. Headache with Neuropathy captures the overwhelming experience of neurological overload — where pain, pressure, and electric misfiring ripple through the body like a storm you can’t escape.
Built on a poured base, the piece was layered with signature paint flips and intricately cut elements, collaged into place to evoke the fragmentation and jagged intensity of neuropathic episodes. Colors clash and spiral, forming visual tension points that mimic the sensation of static under the skin, flashing lights behind the eyes, and deep internal dissonance.
This is not a painting of suffering, but of survival. It holds the shape of what it feels like to endure when your body becomes untrustworthy — and your spirit has to anchor somewhere deeper.
Headache with Neuropathy invites empathy and presence. It asks viewers to feel what can’t be explained, and to witness the beauty that somehow still emerges from within the chaos.
