Created in response to a miraculous moment when seven doves laid themselves down at the artist’s feet following her grandmother’s passing, this piece carries a deep ancestral current. Each dove was hand-cut from thick, textured pours — layered, dried, and sealed with oil — representing the spirits that surrendered in full trust. The number seven speaks to spiritual completion; the 73 feathers used in the ceremonial fan made from those same doves echoes the year of the artist’s birth.

This is not a story about what was inherited in paper — but what was bestowed in spirit.

Soon to be finished with a custom gemstone frame, this original work is a rare blend of devotion, vision, and textural beauty.
